About Me

Hi there! My name is Ciana Malchione. I'm an arts educator and aspiring picture book illustrator.

I'm originally from a small mushroom-farming town in Pennsylvania but now live in New York City. I obtained my BFA from Cooper Union and currently work as an Artist-Educator at The Children's Museum of the Arts in Manhattan, where I make weekly content for children. I make my illustrations in paper-cut collage and am particularly excited by nonfiction stories from history. My signature geometric style is an ever-changing dance between

pattern, texture, and shape.
